Your adventure begins with a comfortable pickup from your hotel or Nile cruise in Aswan around 8:00 AM — or at a time that suits you.
A friendly, professional guide will greet you and provide a quick overview of the day’s itinerary.
Relax in an air-conditioned vehicle as you head to your first destination: Kalabsha Temple — about a 30-40 minute drive away.
Explore the Temple of Kalabsha, a stunning example of Roman-era Egyptian architecture.
Built in 30 BC and dedicated to the Nubian god Mandulis, this temple was relocated stone by stone to save it from the rising waters of Lake Nasser after the construction of the Aswan High Dam.
Your guide will walk you through the temple, explaining its fascinating carvings, structure, and the stories etched into its walls.
Time at the temple: Approx. 1 to 1.5 hours.
After the temple visit, enjoy a 30-minute scenic drive along the Nile back to Aswan to visit the Nubian Museum — a must-see for history and culture lovers.
This award-winning museum showcases the vibrant culture and deep-rooted heritage of the Nubian people.
Wander through exhibits featuring ancient artifacts, artwork, jewelry, and relocated monuments, while your guide shares intriguing insights into the Nubian civilization and their resilience through time.
Time at the museum: Approx. 1.5 to 2 hours.
After an enriching day, you’ll be comfortably transferred back to your hotel or Nile cruise.
Estimated return: Between 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM, depending on traffic.
Two iconic landmarks in one day — combining ancient wonders with cultural insights.
