8 Days Nile Cruise from Luxor to Aswan Itinerary – 8 Days / 7 Nights
Day 1: Arrival & Boarding
- Arrival: You will be met at Luxor airport or your hotel and transferred to the cruise boat.
- Check-in & Lunch: Board the 5-star Nile cruise boat before lunch. The cruise will serve a variety of vegetarian and international food.
- Leisure Time: The afternoon is yours to relax, settle into your cabin, and explore the immediate area around the cruise dock in Luxor.
- Evening: Enjoy dinner on board, followed by an evening of entertainment, such as a disco. Overnight in Luxor.
Day 2: Luxor West Bank Tours & Sailing
- Early Morning: Wake up in Luxor.
- Hot Air Balloon Ride: This is a major highlight. You will be picked up early for a spectacular sunrise hot air balloon flight over the West Bank of Luxor, offering a breathtaking aerial view of the temples and monuments.
- West Bank Tour: After breakfast, your guide will take you on a tour of the West Bank, also known as the “City of the Dead.”
- Valley of the Kings: Visit the burial site of many pharaohs of the New Kingdom. Your ticket allows entry into three royal tombs.
- Temple of Hatshepsut: Explore the stunning Mortuary Temple of the female pharaoh Queen Hatshepsut, a unique piece of ancient architecture.
- Colossi of Memnon: Make a photo stop at the two colossal statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III.
- Sailing: Return to the boat for lunch. In the afternoon, the cruise will begin its journey south towards Aswan. You can enjoy afternoon tea on the sun deck while admiring the beautiful Nile Valley scenery.
- Esna Lock: A fascinating part of the journey is crossing the Esna Lock, a “water elevator” that raises the ship to a higher water level, allowing navigation.

Day 4: Aswan Tours

Day 6: Sailing to Luxor
